Do you accept custom orders?

Yes, but the quantity needs to be large enough to make it feasible to produce a custom run. A minimum of $2,000 for decos (decorative patterened tiles)  or  100 square feet of field (solid, one color)  tiles required to produce a custom order.

We base a surcharge for below minimum custom field tile runs on a 100 sq.ft. minimum

Explanation:  We take the number of tiles in a “sub-minimum” order and subtract it from the minimum 400 piece standard then split that in half.  In a theroretical the case of 300 pcs ordered this is 100 pcs. less our minimum order. Splitting the difference of 100pcs. in half, 50 pcs., then add this as a percentage (12.5% less then full order) as an upcharge on top of the 300 piece order. Upping the regular cost per tile from $7 to $8.16

This calculation takes into consideration that any run of field tile requires about the same amount of prep work in making and processing the glaze, the same equipment set-up and cleanup for each color, and a higher percentage of over-runs the smaller order.
